Facebook Co-Viewing Experience: TV With Paris + Your Friends

Written by Tom Donohue | Posted on: May 18th, 2011

Wiredset continues to resonate at the center of TV and media convergence with the launch of Oxygen Media’s custom viewing app for Facebook.

The co-viewing application supports the upcoming season of Oxygen’s new show “The World According to Paris” premiering Wednesday June 1st.  ”Paris Live” co-viewing begins at 9:45pm ET / PT, fifteen minutes before the 10pm show start.

This TV with your friends engagement is a tighter social graph experience which is part of a larger trend and the first of its kind.

The Facebook app features a live video stream and chat functionality so fans can chat live with each other and Paris Hilton during the season premiere.  Fans will be able to either attend a viewing party with a broad base of fans on “The World According to Paris” Facebook Page or use their personal pages and curate their own guest list of friends for “their” party. All fans will have the same access to Paris and the live video stream and will be able to ask her questions and see responses as she posts them.

To participate in the experience  visit “The World According to Paris” Facebook Page .

Big up to Wiredset’s production team for producing this unique and complicated experience!
