Wiredset’s flagship product, Trendrr, is a premium business intelligence service that offers highly customized, proprietary tools for analyzing digital and social media activities. Trendrr’s premium curation platform uses sophisticated classification algorithms to identify and analyze conversations in real-time. The Trendrr business intelligence platform allows marketing, publishing, and media companies to monitor, measure, and respond to conversations about brands, services, and products. The platform is used by media outlets for creative content, consumer engagement, and predictive indexes.

Wiredset was founded in 2004 by former Sony executives and is headquartered in New York City’s Meatpacking District.

An emerging media futurist with expertise in the convergence of television and second screen engagement, technology and behavioral trending, Mark Ghuneim has spent over 20 years in executive ranks of the entertainment industry. His pioneer spirit, coupled with an extensive knowledge of music, television and brand marketing, led him to found Wiredset in 2004, a real-time digital agency and technology incubator specializing in engagement marketing for Fortune 500 brands, networks, studios, publishing companies, and consumer product groups. Two years later, Mark founded Wiredset’s flagship product, Trendrr – a premium business intelligence service that offers highly customized, proprietary tools for analyzing digital and social media activities. Trendrr, along with its television-specific product, Trendrr.TV, is used by media outlets for creative content, consumer engagement and predictive indexes. Prior to starting Wiredset and Trendrr, Ghuneim spent 16 years with Sony Music USA, where he was most recently Senior Vice President for Online Services.

Tom Donohue | President

Tom is a 16 year media and entertainment industry veteran and the President and co-founder of Wiredset. Prior to the launch of Wiredset Tom spent 9 years at Sony Music / Sony BMG in roles of increasing responsibility, last serving as Vice President of Digital Sales & Marketing. In his role at Wiredset, he oversees day to day company operations, marketing, and sales. He holds a BA in Philosophy from Clark University and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and young son. An avid long-distance runner Tom is training for his second NYC Marathon.

Matt Dennebaum | Chief Technical Officer

An 11 year technology veteran Matt brings a deep understanding of how technology, programming and application development affect marketing, brand identity and extension. Matt oversees all client production, application development and reporting for Wiredset as well as company IT infrastructure.

Commuting all the way from the Jersey shore, Jon is our lead web developer and manages client and internal application development. When not in the office, he is an avid photographer and dabbles in video production. Jon holds a Masters degree in Computer Science with a concentration in web technologies and e-commerce from Villanova and a Bachelors degree The College of New Jersey.

Alex Mann | Director of Trendrr

Alex Mann is the director of Trendrr, a premium business intelligence service that offers highly customized, proprietary tools for analyzing digital and social media activities.

Prior to his work with Trendrr, Alex founded AM Analytics, a real-time analytics service. Shortly after raising a venture capital round in Silicon Valley, AM Analytics integrated with Trendrr in 2010.

Further back in time, Alex worked on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs specializing in portfolio management and derivatives. Prior, he assisted a New York Times columnist with market research.

Alex has presented on data mining and visualization for the Arts, Culture and Technology meetup in New York and discussed the shift from “search to social” for SEMPO New York.

Alex graduated with honors from the Pennsylvania State University where he studied finance and engineering-entrepreneurship. He writes fiction, spins records, makes screen-prints, and is interested in fitness.
