We're looking for a dynamic, passionate, entrepreneurial-minded personality to join the team in a newly created position: Director Marketing & Client Relations
The job is located at Wiredset's HQ in New York City's Meatpacking District.
The Role:
Working with Wiredset's executive, technology, and marketing teams, the Marketing and Client Relations Director will provide strategic management of all aspects of Wiredset's marketing client projects, facilitate ongoing client relations for current projects, and identify new business opportunities with current and prospective clients. The Director will be involved in all aspects of campaigns from initial development and planning to execution and reporting.
The right candidate will make clients happy with their marketing and strategic brilliance; understand what it means to work in a passionate, balanced, 'for the win' environment. This is a growth position that requires a fast-mind that wants to learn and innovate, as well as the ability to execute on insights to which the marketplace only aspires.
The ideal candidate is a dynamic, passionate, entrepreneurial-minded personality with excellent communications, project management and presentation skills, as well as the proven ability to meet strict deadlines across multiple client projects.
A passionate approach to winning new client projects and the ability to attend non-work hour events and conferences - including some travel to Los Angeles and other cities - will be critical for success.
The Details Must Haves:
- Experience developing and implementing strategies and tactical programs to influence audiences across the web and through social media/mobile platforms
- Ability to develop strategic recommendations and program tactics for clients
- Strong personal and professional experience in emerging media content and online community engagement (Facebook / Twitter / Foursquare, et al)
- Knowledge of online media planning
- Proven track record with winning new business from current and prospective clients
- Superior client leadership skills including ability to articulate complex marketing strategies
- Strong strategic and analytic skills
- Superior (we mean superior) verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast paced dynamic environment
- Ability to organize and execute multiple projects and priorities
- Develop and nurture relationships with key influencers in the online and social media space
- Relationships: an existing network of contacts and relationships are pre-requisite for hire and success
- Must be a self-starter who combines a high level of creativity with strong organization skills
Suggested Experience:
- 5-7 years experience in digital/online media - working for a brand, digital agency, television/film, or publishing company
- Experience managing a team and client relationships is highly preferential
- Proven successful track record of deriving strategic vision, executing it, and enabling full-scale digital marketing campaigns
- Proven successful track record of pitching clients and selling services
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
- Strong existing social media network presence

- Research new websites and blogs, social media networks.
- One-on-one communication with leading fans and consumers online.
- Mailings and general office duties.

Programming Internship

Trendrr tracks trends across a variety of data sources, ranging from social networks, to blog buzz, to Twitter tweets, to Youtube video views. Trendrr enables users to easily monitor the popularity and audience engagement around brands, TV & Film shows, political campaigns among other applications.
Trendrr is looking looking for great programing interns. Interns will have the opportunity to work on API and other key areas of trendrr.com. We utilize cutting edge techniques including ajax and advanced Javascript. Programing Intern will be responsible for implementing and/or designing new widgets and UI elements using jquery, ajax, and facelets. Interns will also work with graphic designers on layout and design of new pages.
Interns can expect to gain experience with programs and API's that interface with popular web services like Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and others. Interns will gain critical marketplace experience working with leading edge social and digital networks. We are a small elite team, as such, interns will be expected to contribute to the production site. We offer a unique opportunity to gain real world programming experience.
